a night of heartwarming emotion!!

tonight was the night of skate for the children and things went good with the firetruck there which the kids loved. the reps did well and we raised alittle more money but the highlight of the night was when we were ending the silent auction this nice lady was writing her check and told Kathy and myself thank you for last year she was helped by BOB PARKS reality company because she couldnt afford gifts for her kids and this year she is ok with her money and wanted to give back. This gave me and Kathy goosebumps and i got teary eyed. Now I know that there are people out there that do apperciate things done for them. I am alittle dissapointed that no more than a few bloggers showed up but hey they is always next time. we are going to plan a bowling night soon for those that like to bowl. this event you will be able to come bowl and drinka cold beer while raising money. I want to give a big thanks to Paul at the skate center, the Smyrna fire dept, all the donations from all the silent auction items and thanks goes out to the Arbonne rep and the Pampered Chef rep. also the gang at the rink did a great job...Alisha, Matt, Blake and the other guys.......I am so very proud of everyone for helping with this and maybe next time we can do this bigger and better......watch the blog for more info of more events to come.......
