When I die this is how I want my funeral...

Even though I am only 40 yrs old I have thought about how I want my funeral when I die. I probably wont have many people there when I die since I am single and wont ever marry but My newphew will hopefully get to do my funeral plans and I know he can do the right thing by obeying my last wish about my funeral. When I die I want people to celebrate my life and not sit around and weep. I right now have lived a good and crazy life and when I do die I want those close to me to understand that I am now much happier resting in a better place. I hope that when I do die that it is fast and without pain.
My plans are that I want a big party with lots of food and drink. I would also like a few disco lights with lots of music played and the music will be some of the greatest music around and I will post some of the videos and lyrics of my favorite songs that I do want played.
I know this may come to a shock to most of you about me planning my funeral now but hey I could be run over by a semi tomorrow...lol...lets hope not!! here is a few of my most favorite songs...I hope you enjoy!!

So I'm back, to the velvet underground
Back to the floor, that I love
To a room with some lace and paper flowers
Back to the gypsy that I was
To the gypsy... that I was

And it all comes down to you
Well, you know that it does
And lightning strikes, maybe once, maybe twice
oh, and it lights up the night
And you see your gypsy
You see your gypsy

To the gypsy that remains faces freedom with a little fear
I have no fear, I have only love
And if I was a child
And the child was enough
Enough for me to love
Enough to love

She is dancing away from me now
She was just a wish
She was just a wish
And a memory is all that is left for you now
You see your gypsy
You see your gypsy

Lightning strikes, maybe once, maybe twice
And it all comes down to you
"
And it all comes down to you

Lightning strikes, maybe once, maybe twice
And it all comes down to you

I still see your bright eyes, bright eyes
I have always loved you
And it all comes down to you

Here comes the rain again
Falling on my head like a memory
Falling on my head like a new emotion
I want to walk in the open wind
I want to talk like lovers do
I want to dive into your ocean
Is it raining with you

So baby talk to me
Like lovers do
Walk with me
Like lovers do
Talk to me
Like lovers do

Here comes the rain again
Raining in my head like a tragedy
Tearing me apart like a new emotion
Oooooh
I want to breathe in the open wind
I want to kiss like lovers do
I want to dive into your ocean
Is it raining with you

So baby talk to me
Like lovers do

Here comes the rain again
Falling on my head like a memory
Falling on my head like a new emotion
(Here it comes again, here it comes again)
I want to walk in the open wind
I want to talk like lovers do
I want dive into your ocean
Is it raining with you

My new website i am working on....

I am working for my father on my off daays from the bowling center and I have talked him into having a website which I am now working on and need everyone's feedback and comments. This is a new experience for me to build a website. A blog is pretty easy work but man this site is so much fun to do and is kind of cheap..go and take a LOOK!!!...SEE YOU ALL IN A FEW DAYS!!!

A blogging campaign...for marriage for LGBT

I just got this email from one of my readers and he asked that we do this for him and since I am so very busy with 2 jobs right now I am going to publish his email so the rest of you can read what this is all about and help out like I will try to.

Dear fellow LGBT blogger:

I'm writing because you’re one of the blogs I've read over the years and I am engaged in a new project to help one of the LGBT community’s best organizations, Freedom to Marry. All bloggers who write a post are eligible to win TWO copies of the collector’s edition DVD of Brokeback Mountain. I am also always looking for new blogs to highlight on PageOneQ, one of my two sites – more about that in a bit.

Today is the 40th Anniversary of Loving vs. Virginia, the historic Supreme Court case from 1967 that removed prohibitions against interracial marriages. In an effort to educate the community, a national LGBT organization, Freedom to Marry, has launched a provocative advertising campaign.

I hope you will consider writing a post and linking to the Freedom to Marry website. Each blogger who posts will be entered in the contest. The winner is free to use the DVD's as they see fit, including using one or both as a giveaway on your site. Every blogger who posts, no matter what your traffic, has an equal shot to win the DVD’s.

To participate in the contest, just post about the anniversary of Loving v. Virginia with a link to the Freedom to Marry website and then send a link of your post to me at mrogers@p1nm.com. When linking to the Freedom to Marry Page, please use this link: http://tinyurl.com/yomc8f. That link will help us to track via a counter. (All blogs use the same link, so we do not track hits from any one site, just a total of all blogs.)

From time to time, I work with other groups and will have similar contest opportunities for LGBT blogs. If you’d like to continue to receive these mailings with no obligation, do nothing. If you’d rather not receive them, just click the unsubscribe link below..

Submitting items for PageOneQ: If you have original content of LGBT news, be sure to send a link for PageOneQ to contactform@pageoneq.com. We can’t possibly link to every site that gets submitted, but the site is updated numerous times per day and we try to include as much original content from bloggers as we can get on the page.

Thanks,

Michael Rogers

does anyone know about this???

I know that its only the first of June but, I have asked about holding a fundraiser this year at work and they said it would be fine and its never too early to start planning one so I am going to contact Kathy T. soon and start to plan this event. I feel that maybe we can hold a few fundraisers before the actual holiday season arrives. Last year we held 2 at the Smyrna skate center and the turn out was and I feel that we just through it together and also not alot of adults wanted to come because they don’t skate…well This time will be different. There will be no excuses from anyone that they cant come and join us for a night of bowling, music, food, fun family and friendship! If we have enough folks purchasing tickets then they will close the bowling center just for our group which could be alot of fun. More info on this event as we plan it so stay tuned!!!

on June 29th the city of Smyrna is holding a fundraiser to help send teens to the sister city in Japan. I know my boss has printed up about 300 tickets for this event but have yet to find out where they can be purchased from since the city is holding this event. If anyone knows please leave me a message and I will blog about it! This event will be held at the bowling center and will be overnight with all the bowling you can handle on a Friday night. Plus if enough tickets are sold then the place will be closed and opened just for this fundraiser. so Lets see some support from our city and help these kids go over seas to our sister city!!

Ahoax that cost taxpayers alot of money and police time...

I was reading the Cookeville paper and saw this as the top story...

COOKEVILLE -- A girl who said she was 6 years old and was being hauled down Interstate 40 by a kidnapper late Sunday night is now facing charges in four counties.

This girl had caused alot of police time and effort trying to find her. The parents should be held accountable and be made to pay every county back the money that was wasted on this and then the parents should make the girl do work and pay them back.. She needs to be taught a lesson about this because it could lead to bigger things later on when she turns 18+...if you want to read the whole story go to the Herald Citizen for more.

we should stand by our man!!

Obama on gay issues....

I was reading a blog over at wordpress and this guy writes,

United States Senator Barack Obama released the following statement last week to commemorate Gay Pride Month:

“Pride Month is a reminder that while we have come a long way since the Stonewall riots in 1969, we still have a lot of work to do.

Too often, the issue of LGBT rights is exploited by those seeking to divide us. But at its core, this issue is about who we are as Americans. It’s about whether this nation is going to live up to its founding promise of equality by treating all its citizens with dignity and respect.

It’s time to turn the page on the bitterness and bigotry that fill so much of today’s LGBT rights debate. The rights of all Americans should be protected — whether it’s at work or anyplace else. “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” needs to be repealed because patriotism and a sense of duty should be the key tests for military service, not sexual orientation. Civil unions should give gay couples full rights. And those who commit hate crimes should be punished no matter whether those crimes are committed on account of race, religion, gender identity, or sexual orientation.

This Pride Month, let’s make our founding promise of equality a reality for every American.”

Published simultaneously at my home blog: Et Cetera: Publick and Privat Curiosities.

I must agree on everything Obama has stated. We must stop the hate and start loving each other as one. I believe alot of the hate is taught to children and then we grow up to hate each other....I really enjoy reading
GAY MEN RULE. He has alot of good insight and talks about alittle of everything..go over and see for yourself!!

Can you go back in time??

Well folks I am back out of town again and yes I am in Cookeville. This place brings back so many memories to me from when I grew up and went to high school here. I can’t believe how this town has grown so much. It’s not like it used to be. I did actually meet up with an old high school friend last weekend and man did he change. I also found out he is gay. In school he was a geeky nerd and we talked alot but were’nt very close friends.

The one friend of mine from back then was my best friend and I cant find him. I think he went to vet school and moved away and married. We didn't leave on best of terms. We ended up having a big fist fight and then stopped talking. If I was ever to see him again I would tell him I am sorry for kicking his ass!! I am right down the street from the old high school which also brings back memories for me. This part of the state is the most beautiful. If you ever get a chance to come up for a day visit you should. There is 3 area lakes here, Dale Hollow, Cordell hull, and Center hill lake! I will be back to my home in a few days to get back to work. I miss everyone from back then and wish I could go back IN time and redo alot of things in my life. If I had the chance I would finish school and go to college. I fucked up my life so bad but now I think I have found my glitch in life.

Tell me about your favorite high school memories and what you wish you could change about your life if anything?

Talk to everyone soon and have a great time this week..stay cool!!

You dont deserve children...

This woman must be really fucking stupid or something.
"Mother Arrested For Leaving Kids In Hot, Enclosed Car"
Police in Gallatin arrested a mother of four Friday for leaving her children in a hot car for more than an hour.

Officers responded to the Gallatin Department of Children’s Services at about 10:30 a.m. Friday and found the four children, ages two, three, five and seven, unattended in the vehicle.

The children’s mother, Judith Lane, was reportedly inside DCS.

The children, all reportedly in good condition, were nearing the point of heat exhaustion when they were discovered.

After running the car’s air conditioner for 10 minutes, the temperature inside the car registered at 105 degrees.

Going to the DCS office and leaving your children in the car is just asking to be arrested. My god what is wrong with people these days? Every summer there seems to be a few ignorant parents that there that leave their children in cars and most don't make it out alive. Its all over the news all the time and parents I guess just dOnt watch the news or pay attention. If you do something like this then you really don't deserve children. I hope they take her kids away from her for good!!!

All I can say is TRAILER TRASH BITCH!!!
